Happy Saturday! I have a QUESTION!

Buddies, my body is tired, but still seems to be pulling me into the “I Can Do More” direction. I normally take Saturdays as my rest days and after making my 20 mile mark this week, I think I slept for about 12 hours! I’m sure my body needed the rest! I think I’m just wanting to get the other 4 minutes to hit 350 minutes since I’m so very close!

All suggestions are welcome! Thanks all!

Guess what, Buddies!?!?

I DID it! I actually finished my last 2 miles this morning! I have walked 20 miles this week! I feel so good! Thank y’all for all your support! Y’all helped push me to do better this week!

Woo Hoo! I’m so proud of myself!

Woo Hoo! Another 2 miles done!

Dearest buddies, I have completed another 2 miles! This brings my total thus far to 18 miles/315 minutes thus far! Am I gonna quit now that I’ve hit 315 minutes and I’m only supposed to do 300? No, I’m thinking not! I think I need to really hit that 20 mile mark just so I can say that I can! Can I do it? YES, I THINK I CAN! And y’all know what that means?! I CAN DO THIS AND I WILL DO THIS! Tomorrow my 20 miles will be hit and I think I will have doubled what I normally do! I wasn’t sure I could do it when this challenge was put out there, but I’m so close now, I just can’t stop!

On another note, all, my cousin and I were texting earlier…they are starting a “biggest loser” type contest starting on Monday. I have offered to loan her my WW books to review and go over it with her. I don’t think she can afford to go to the meetings right now, but at least she will have me to shove, I mean push, her in the right direction! Buddies, I’m feeling so good right now! If you’d told me a year ago that I would have been able to do 20 miles in a week, I think I would have told you that you were NUTS, CRAZY, LOCO! But look at me! I’m 2 miles shy!

I feel like such a slacker!

My body did NOT want t get up this morning!  I didn’t get up until 6 so I only did the one mile walk this morning!  I am only 4 away so I should be okay.  Time to get moving to the shower!

So much to do…so little time!

Okay…well, I didn’t intend for it to work quite this way today…

 but I just finished another 4 miles tonight!  Buddies, this means that I am up to 15 miles/253 minutes into my challenge!  I’m shocked at myself!  I am proud of myself too though!  I didn’t imagine I would do this when I started this challenge!  I’m really getting into it now!  I know I will make it to this challenge and I will be a much better person for it!

I’m doing the happy dance because I’m so excited!  Woo Hoo!

I really DID NOT want to get up this morning!

But I drug my butt up out of the bed and got my 2 miles in!  I’ve managed to log 11 miles/193 minutes this week!  I’m so proud of myself!  I am having to really remind myself of this challenge, but I know I can make it now!  I’m halfway there!  I’m moving and that means that the scale will move in the future!  When I step it up a little bit, then it tends to drop…time to shower and get ready for work!

Just checking in! Challenge Update!

I did another 2 miles tonight/32 minutes. It was the Fat Burner 2 Mile Fat Burner Walk…has toning segments! Whew…it’s been quite a workout! Brings my total to 9 miles for the week or 160 minutes! I’m half way through! Can y’all see me doing the happy dance??!! I wasn’t entirely sure I was up for all this! I guess I am!

Oh My Goodness!!!!

I was so confused! Nonetheless, but I will get it all figured out soon, I’m sure!

An update on the Challenge I’ve been given this week…20 miles or 300 minutes of exercise. I’ve done 7 miles…and 128 minutes thus far. I am sure I can do it…it’s just going to be a push for me…I think I’ve sort of gotten myself in a workout slump and the only day I really pull myself out of it…is on Sunday. It’s time to step it up all week long instead! I still have too long on this journey to get into a slump yet!

I hope everyone is managing to find their way around…feel like I’m stumpling in the dark, but we’ll all be okay!

Sunday is my STEP IT UP DAY!

Well, Buddies, I got finished with the 4 mile walk…and even did part of the high impact (not too much, but I did part of it…takes me back to my jazzercise days!) and then I did the You Can Do Abs Moves and Techniques and then the Core and Upper Body workouts! I can feel it! But it’s a good feeling! I need to shower, run the clothes over to Lisa (the ones that have outgrown me), get the bratchild something to eat…and then here to finish up laundry to prepare for the week. I am hoping to get everything packed so I just have to load up in the morning.

Buddies, on one of the other boards that I post on…someone was lurking and posted a site to find out your YaYa Name (http://ya-ya.com/yaya_name). Mine is Queen Singing Cloud! Thought it might be fun to do!

Need some suggestions…

I got a new DVD (yes, Dawnie, it’s a Leslie Sansone!)  and the one part that I think I may have some problems with are the one where she has you doing the “kickbacks” down on all fours.  I had knee surgery in HS and my left knee had to have cartiledge removed.  Since then I have had problems getting down on all fours like that to workout.  Any suggestions?  I want to make the most of this new DVD.  I want my whole body to be in shape…not just parts.
