Weigh In was good to me!…AGAIN!

I stepped on the scale tonight in the hopes that I might lose a pound.  I wound up losing 2.6 pounds when I stepped off.  That brings my total weight loss to 30.2 pounds to date!  I’m so excited!  I didn’t expect that I would lose that much!

A Few Good People Still Wanted for the Bees!

If you would be interested in being a part of our team, we would anticipate that each of you would actually take an active part in the team and support your fellow team members on the Serious Forum, the Cheer Forum and/or by comments to the other team member’s blogs.  Stacey and I are not on the same kind of plan, I am on Weight Watchers and Stacey is watching what she eats, so your plan is entirely up to you.  We will support you each step of the way no matter what plan you are on.  We understand that everyone has a life, but we would like someone who can take a few minutes out of their day to actively support the team.  Weigh-in deadline is Saturdays at 6 p.m., but you can weigh any day of the week, just try to make it the same day each week.   Our team is the Worker Bees, as we are all working to get the weight off and be healthier versions of ourselves.  Please email and let us know if you want to be part of the new team and include your current weight.  Thanks.

Weigh In was good to me!

I lost 2.4 pounds last night!  That’s 1.4 pounds I gained last week AND another pound!  It’s just a small step, but definitely in the right direction!

We’re trying to make a go of the new team, but we still need some people!  If anyone is interested or knows anyone that is, let me or Stacey know!  Thanks!!

Weight Loss Challenge Team Request…

Dear Buddies, I hope all is well with everyone.  Due to some personal reasons, my friend Stacey and I made the hard decision to resign from the HotRods.  After Kim made the suggestion, we decided to see if there was enough interest in forming another team. Our team will be the Worker Bees, as we are all working to get the weight off and be healthier versions of ourselves.  Please email and let us know if you want to be part of the new team and include your current weight.  Thanks.

Good morning, I know, I know, it’s Monday…

Why am I so darn happy?!  I get to go back to the chiropractor again today and considering my shoulder popped out late Friday night, I need him to adjust me again!  Aside from that, I finished my first formal workout yesterday!  I did 4 WHOLE MILES!  I did have to modify a little bit, but I did it!  That’s MUCH better than how I felt LAST MONDAY!  I have my truck back, I have the okay to work out…things are going much better!

It’s a whole new week!  Anything is possible this week!

Friday & Saturday were GOOD DAYS!

Friday evening my chiropractor told me that I could workout! YEAH!!!!! I got the rental returned on Friday and got a $200 something refund! DOUBLE YEAH!!! Then I got to pick up my truck yesterday! WOOHOO! And then my mother and I went to see John Connelly, John Anderson and Ronnie Milsap last night! It was an AWESOME SHOW! They all did their older songs, but Ronnie and John Conlee did some of their new stuff too. John Conlee has a gospel album with some of the classic hymns. He also has a son on his second deployment to Iraq. He said contrary to what we are hearing on the news…the Surge is doing their job…his son is in one of the heavier areas and they have not had a casualty in two months. It was truly an awesome show! We walked around the casino and then to the coliseum and then back to the casino and to the truck, so although I didn’t have a formal workout, I had a workout! It was definitely alot of fun!

Let’s HOPE FOR MORE GOOD NEWS TODAY!

I got an email from Service King yesterday and he said the parts should be in yesterday afternoon and should be ready by Monday at the latest.  Let’s hope and pray for earlier…I want my truck back!  This rental car stinks!

I am going to my chiropractor tonight and will talk to him about what kind of workouts I can do now.  I really wanted to get back into my workout routine, but I can’t risk injuring myself further because I want to workout so bad.  Perhaps he’ll agree to some yoga or pilates.  We’ll see.

FINALLY! Some Good News!

After waiting (not so patiently), I finally called the doctor’s office today to find out the results of my xrays since they hadn’t called.  They finally called back!  My collarbone is not broken!  Thank God!  I have some exercises my DC (chiropractor) gave me to do, but I’m not sure I’m up for my regular work out schedule!  I’ll talk to him on Friday when I got back in and see what he says.  Oh!  Another bit of good news…unrelated to the accident…they are giving me samples of my allergy meds so I don’t have to spend $50.00 a month on them!  Thank God!  Hope all is well with everyone!  Take care and God bless!  Tracey

Update since the accident…Yes, I did go to the Doctor!

Well, I’m still not feeling up to par which really stinks because I WANT to workout. I told both my MD and my DC that it was interfering in my workout routine! The one thing they both really agreed to is that I was very LUCKY! Can you say Blessed not Lucky?! My Nanny, God rest her soul, sent so many prayers up for me during her life that I have no doubt that she was watching down upon me from Heaven above to keep me safe. My MD did xrays to see if I broke my collarbone. DC doesn’t think it’s broken, he says it’s a tendon popping. I guess we shall know for sure when MD reads the xrays. I’m still sore, but I think I will make it. Her insurance company called today, but in all my spare time today, I simply didn’t have time to call her back. I was at Enterprise to get a rental about 5 after 8, then back home to finish packing for the week, then MD’s office called so I decided not to pack my stuff in the truck. I headed to meet the tow truck. BTW, remind me not to expect them to be on time!?! It was 10:30ish by the time they got there. I still had to go by Service King to sign the paperwork then to work for a whole hour and a half because my MD appt. was at 2:30, so I had to leave by 1. After leaving there about 10 after 4, I headed to my DC’s office so I could get their stuff done! I finally made it home just before 6 and unfortunately, her insurance rep has already gone home. Oh well…at least she called!
